All of our lives have pain and suffering. We push and fight our way through these dark moments to find something better. This collection of poetry is my fight to become something better for myself. I found hope in these words and it is my wish that you do, too.

Someone, somewhere, someday, it hits us. We fall in love, but sometimes they don’t fall back. Someday is my reckoning with falling in love when I thought I wasn’t even capable of it. This is my journey with the unrequited. May you find resonance with it, and may you feel seen.

There is a constant pursuit of defining what it is to be a woman or a man. This pursuit is filled with misunderstandings that create unbearable tension among us. We are not allowed to be the very things we need to be, and we take it out on each other.
